Safety Guidelines issued by RBI for a credit card consumer

• Firstly, if the issue of a credit card to an individual is declined by the bank, reasons should be traced in writing.
• Secondly, if without any request credit card is issued to any individual(unsolicited cards) & also the card is misused before reaching the person in whose name card is issued, in such case bank will be responsible for any loss arising out of misuse of such unsolicited cards.
